Hair extensions are great whilst growing your hair long but are a short term measure which I have used. Long term it is not the answer and can damage your hair.
It is a well known fact that hair extensions can do damage to your natural hair. The glue that is attached to your natural hair can burn and split the ends of your hair. This means that you will almost always be required to have the ends of your hair cut after the extensions are removed.
Also, if a lot of long or heavy extensions are added, this applies additional pressure to your scalp. One of the dangers of extra pressure to your scalp can be a thinning of your natural hair. In some cases there have been reports of headaches from the added weight of the hair or allergies to the bonding glue that is used. Everyone is different and will react to hair extensions in a different way. They are not necessarily good or bad. It depends on a number of factors that you have to consider.
If you are trying to grow your hair long, you might want to think seriously of the potential damage the hair extensions could do to your long hair quest. However, if you only would like a new look for a few months and are prepared to lose some inches along with the extensions, they can be a great solution.

Florence and the Machine launch the new Fiat 500C
Florence and the Machine have reached number one with their debut album Lungs.
The record has spent 28 consecutive weeks in the top 40.
Pixie Lott, Mumford & Sons and Lady GaGa also feature in this week’s top ten with debut albums which they released in 2009. Meanwhile, Delphic, who came third in the BBC’s Sound of 2010 poll, went straight in at number eight with their debut album Acolyte.
Martin Talbot, the managing director of the Official Charts Company, said: “It shows how much of the new talent which emerged last year is here for the long term and if Delphic’s chart debut is anything to go by, 2010 promises to be equally exciting.”
The highest new entry in this week’s album chart is Vampire Weekend’s second album Contra, which went in at number three. You Me At Six went straight in at number five with Hold Me Down.
Susan Boyle’s debut I Dreamed A Dream slipped out of the top ten, finishing at number 11, while the Black Eyed Peas dropped six places to number 12. Michael Bublé also fell out of the top ten, moving down nine places to number 14.

The Britain’s Got talent runner up who’s album I Dreamed a dream is set to become the UK’s No1 seller this year and hopes to win new fans with her appearance on Kohaku Uta Gassen. She has apparently been practising a Japanese folk song ‘Wings To Fly’
Her record CD ‘I dreamed a Dream’ has sold more than 1.4 million copies in the UK, overtaking Lady Gaga and rockers Kings of Leon.

RATM Uncensored on BBC is Christmas 2009 No1!
By · Comments RATM and Joe McElderry are both signed up with the Sony record label so the winners are.. Sony & Simon Cowell At least RATM are raising money for the homeless with a link to shelter on their facebook. RATM were asked to perform on the BBC if they censored the lyrics “Fuck You I Won’t Do What You Tell Me” but they changed their mind and sang the full lyrics anyway. RATM are making a statement against being forced fed X Factor manufactured pop. Paul McCartney is said to be backing RATM despite appearing on the X Factor.
The day Lucie Jones who was booted off the X Factor in favour of the Jedwards who could not sing, this years X Factor went down in my estimation.
RATM are still ahead of Joe in the charts and have sold 306,000 to Joe’s 297,000.
