RudeBoy Offers A Fresh New Sound In The World Of Rap Tunes
From a rough start growing up, RudeBoy comes on the scene offering a new sound in the world of rap. He is definitely on the cusp of blowing up with his music. If you have not heard the name yet, it is sure to become known by all before much more time has passed.
Google his name right now and what you will come up with first is likely many references to the Rhianna song of that name. But this will not be the case for much longer. This Bahamas born young rapper will soon be taking over the search engines for himself.
Born Andrew Knowles, the rapper moved from the Bahamas to Florida when he was just three years old. His father went to prison when Knowles was only six, at which time he lived with both his mother and her mother-in-law. At this early age, he did not get much time with his single parent as she worked two jobs to support her family.
Knowles began his passion for entertainment while he was still in school, participating in talent shows and plays. As early as fourteen, he began to rap and write music. Two years later, he was ready to start trying for a career in music.
At this time, he was helped by Platinum Recording Studios’ head of A&R. Through the help of Mike Green, he got access to a variety of studios where he could work on his style. At the age of 18, though, he decided to put his career on hold, working two jobs instead.
Just two short years later, Knowles was to meet Smif-N-Gunz, producers based in Palm Beach County. Together, the team is destined to create a household name for RudeBoy. His vocal talent, catchy music and fresh approach are sure to garner attention. There is no doubt that people will be dancing to his tunes in the days to come.

Brian Friedman-Stop voting for the Grimes Twins
X FACTOR dance ace Brian Friedman is begging viewers to stop voting for the Grimes twins - as a win by Jedward would "make a mockery" of the show. Choreographer Brian has admitted that while Dublin lads John and Edward are great entertainment, they could ruin the credibility of the country's biggest singing contest because they don't have any talent. So bad are their raw vocals that Brian, 32, says listening to the boys sing is like "entering the gates of hell." Still the boys, 18, have yet to be left in the bottom two by voters - and are now ranked with a 14/1 shot at winning by bookies. Meanwhile, Brian has been ordered by Simon Cowell to make sure star singer Danyl Johnson, 27, does not face a repeat of last week - where he was left in the bottom two despite being the head judge's key talent. He said Simon's initial worries about a Grimes victory have been eclipsed by the thought that Danyl - one of Simon's favourites to ever appear on the show - could be next to leave. Brian said: "There is no way to figure out exactly what the public are voting for. "But I really hope the viewers with actual music taste got the wake up call they needed with Danyl and Miss Frank being in the bottom two last week - they have to get voting for people who can sing. "I absolutely do not think the Grimes twins deserve to win. And I'm not alone in that - but if you want to make a change you've got to get on the phone and vote."

Music Themed Battle of the Bands
The idea behind the game is for different genres of music to battle it out for supremacy. Games such as the Guitar Hero series have inspired lots of people to learn to play the guitar correctly, in addition to providing hours of fun. Music themed video games have become very common. The game is to be published by THQ, sometime in 2008, and it has been developed by Planet Moon Studios. The game is appropriate for one player or multi players. The world of gaming keenly anticipates the release of the Battle of the Bands game for the Wii system. It doesn’t claim any musical knowledge and players of any standard will enjoy it. Practice makes ideal and it may prove addictive!
Battle of the Bands contains 30 songs played in five cover versions of different styles. Therefore, the total is 150 songs. A song in a certain genre is played for a brief time period and changes from one style to another. The players must do their finest to move the remote in time to the notes. Players compete alongside each other, following the notes that appear on the screen. The player that performs the best will score more points, resulting in their chosen genre being played more. The winning player’s music will be the loudest, drowning out the rest.
Gamers can also shrink notes or change them around. Different features of the game have been added to make it more exciting . Anyone familiar with Guitar Hero will also enjoy this game. Players want to spoil it for the opposition and there are ‘weapons’, such as land mines and smoke bombs. The genres enclosed within Battle of the Bands are Rock, Country and Western, Funk/Hip-Hop, Marching Band and Latin. It takes a similar concept and adds a aggressive edge with some fun obstacles thrown in. There are three additional tracks with an orchestral backing. Wii will gain from this clever game in the music themed sector, aimed at teenagers and young people.
The 30 songs chosen for the game represent different styles of music and artists. There are old and newer acts, the most famous being The Ramones and their track, Blitzkrieg Bop. Other tracks include Feel Good Inc by Gorillaz, Insane in the Brain by Cypress Hill and Master Exploder by Tenacious D. KC and the Sunshine Band’s big hit, that’s the Way (I Like It) is also included. The Battle of the Bands is an established part of the MTV scene and it will soon be part of the gaming fraternity.
